The Anti-Cult Organization — Origin Story

YOU DON’T BUILD AN ANTI-CULT ORGANIZATION BECAUSE LIFE WAS CHILL.

You build it because you’ve been gaslit by culture, exhausted by empowerment theater, and burned out by every system that promised clarity but delivered compliance.

The Origin

I didn’t arrive at this work from success.
I arrived through refusal.

I’m Jen Bee — a Certified Adult ADHD Coach, applied neuroscience practitioner, published author, and the founder of The Anti-Cult Organization.

Refusal to perform. Refusal to comply. Refusal to become a sanitized version of myself for anyone’s comfort.

Before founding the organization, I was an ADHD coach, a marketing “CEO” (emphasis on the quotes), and the type of creative who made it look functional from the outside while quietly burning through every system I tried to run myself on. None of them fit. Not the productivity frameworks, not the coaching models, not the self-help formulas.

The longer I looked at why — really looked, instead of just trying harder — the clearer it became that the problem wasn’t me. It was the systems.

I was originally planning to earn a doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology. I pivoted when I realized that what the world needed wasn’t more policies — it was ideological survival tools. Creative ones. Honest ones. Satirical ones. The Anti-Cult Organization wasn’t born from ambition. It was born from psychological necessity.

You can’t coach someone out of a system problem by optimizing their behavior inside the system. That’s the premise everything here is built on.

I was diagnosed with severe ADHD at 15 and went unmedicated for years. I know firsthand what it looks like to have a diagnosis without the right support — and how that still leaves you applying the wrong solutions to the wrong problems.

That’s not a recovery story. It’s a precision problem. My coaching is rooted in that distinction: not teaching you how to do the thing, but understanding why you’re not doing it.

Coaching Philosophy

Precision over prescription.

Most coaching tries to fix the behavior. I’m interested in what’s producing it.

ADHD isn’t heavily conditioned just in the medical sense — it’s also buried under decades of shame, masking, and performance layers that accumulate when you’re told you’re broken for long enough. Most coaching models assume neurotypical brains and neurotypical goals. They hand you planners, accountability check-ins, and habit stacks. None of it sticks not because you failed, but because it was the wrong diagnosis.

Anti-Cult coaching asks a different question: not “why can’t you function?” but “what are you functioning for — and did you ever agree to it?” That distinction changes the work. It changes what becomes possible.

  • Indoctrination isn’t just religious. It’s in capitalism, coaching, education, Instagram, and your bullet journal.
  • Wellness has been co-opted by branding. Empowerment has been sold as identity.
  • Rage is not a liability. It’s a signal.
  • Gurus can get f***ed.
  • If you can name the system, you can exit it.
  • We don’t fix people. We give them the tools to see what broke them — and let them rebuild themselves.

The Anti-Cult Organization

A 501(c)(3) built to name manipulation,
reject performative healing,
and reclaim emotional autonomy.

The Mission

To teach people to name manipulation, reject performative healing, and reclaim emotional autonomy. To challenge indoctrination, coaching cults, toxic systems, and identity commodification. To offer tools for self-exit — without gatekeeping, shame, or paywalls.

What We Don’t Do

We don’t fix people. We give them the tools to see what broke them — and then let them rebuild themselves. No scripts. No new systems to replace the old ones. No fresh identities to perform. Just clarity.

The Vision

A world where people name red flags faster. Where neurodivergent people stop apologizing for their chaos. Where healing becomes personal, not performative. Where rebellion is emotional, creative — and conscious.

This isn’t a job. It’s a psychological rebellion in book form.
